Keep the inhabitants of your planets safe! The sequel to the 1980 arcade hit "Defender," Stargate was not related to the modern-day sci-fi franchise.

In addition to the classic arcade game, Stargate was also released in a "Multi-Williams" 8-in-1 arcade game. It was also released as a table-top game.

"Stargate" was released on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) under the name "Defender II."
